I am on version 10 of McAfee, and I can't for the life of me figure
out how to scan a single file. I've checked everything I know of and
it always wants to scan the entire drive, even if I right click on the
file I want to scan.

How do I scan a single file with McAfee? It's making me nuts.

Thanks.

Open windows explorer and right click on the file select scan for viruses or
similiar. It will scan the boot sector then the file only.

Or alternatively, open a dos box and type "scan <filename>"
