Hi,m
I was wondering if there is a way to increase the amount of icons in the
Quick Launch bar. In Windows Me etc you could have heaps, but if I try to
add more than three in XP, I just get a little arrow and a menu. Is there a
way to have maybe five or six icons there?
Thanks for any help,
Daniel.

I have 26 and still room for more!

Click on a vacant area of task-quick launch bar area and, if there is
a tick next to "Lock the Task Bar" then click it it to untick it.

Following assumes your task bar is at bottom of screen.

Now place your cursor at top of task bar and when it turns into double
headed arrow, drag it upwards to expand the area.

Now look for a double dotted vertical line at left of quick launch
bar, place cursor on it and drag it around until the quick launch area
takes up the full length of the task bar area. Do same with task bar
itself. I have quick launch on top and task bar at bottom but you can
put them in any way you like - even side by side if that suits you.

When it is all to your liking, relock the task bar.
