Does anyone know how to turn on Quick Launch in the all
user profiles and have it active when a new user logs
onto the PC. I do know how to copy the QuickLaunch
directory to ensure the same icons are on everyones
Quicklaunch, I need to have it pre-activated.

Thanks,
Pat

When the new user is logged in, right click on the task bar,
properties, and check the box "show quick launch".

Im looking for a permanent setting for All Users.
Individual users do not have to activate the Quick Launch
bar at the time of first login.

Set up a profile to use as your template (all settings are how you want them). This
can either be *your* profile that you've already customized, or you can create a
new one specifically for this purpose.

Right Click My Computer, choose Properties
Click the Advanced Tab
Click the Settings Button under User Profiles
Select the template account and click the "Copy To" button
Under "Copy Profile To" browse to C:\Documents & Settings\Default User
Under "Permitted to use" click change and type "Everyone"
OK your way to the end.

This procedure will overwrite the default user profile with settings exactly like
your template profile, AND profiles created from this time forward will be based
on the default user profile.

(As provided by another user)

Thanks GK
