This is my third request. I cannot create a toolbar for
Quick Launch. It was suggeted I go to "Doug Knox" for
solution. When I tried to download the solution, I get a
message that says "Malicious Script Detected" "High
Risk". Obviously, I dont go on. Any other suggestions?

The scripts on Doug Knox's web site are well-known (as is Doug himself) and
certainly not malicious. Try downloading again, except this time temporarily
disable your antivirus software (and/or any other script blocking software
you have running.)

That message is telling you that this script is changing
your registry, and this is what you want.Doug Knox is well
known and his site is safe.

I took your advice and downloaded xp_toolbar_error.vbs
file and it says: Error-File already exists. Thanks for
your help anyway.

Just double-click xp_toolbar_error.vbs and follow the prompts.

When you get the message "Malicious Script Detected High Risk",
tell your anti-virus application to allow the script to proceed.

If the file has already been downloaded, find and double click the
xp_toolbar_error.vbs file to run the script. Running the script makes the
necessary corrections to get your Quick Launch toolbar back.
