Quick Launch option in Task Bar

I right click the task bar and choose properties and
check the quick launch option.
Add the irons I want to my task bar.
When I restart computer the quick launch icons are gone
and I have to reclick quick launch again in order to get
the irons on my task bar. Then when I restart they are
gone again.

Does anyone know how to fix this.
