I have 8 items in my Quick Launch folder, but I show only
3 icons in the taskbar. Can I show more?

Hi,

Do you have two little arrows next to the right of your 3rd icon in the
taskbar?
If you click on that arrow you'll see the remaining 5 icons.

If you want to make all of the 8 visible you can resize your taskbar.
Make sure your taskbar is unlocked, Right click a unused area of the taskbar
and then make sure there isn't a checkmark next to "Lock the taskbar".
And then you'll see a border next to the edge of your Quick Launch area of
the taskbar,
Just drag and position the Quick Launch area the size you want.
And then if right click a unused area of the taskbar again and put "Lock the
taskbar" so that it won't move around if you accidently drag something.

Another suggestion that Bud might want to consider: drag the
entire Quick Launch bar off the taskbar and put it on another
side of the screen. For example, putting it on the left side
doesn't take up much screen real estate and creates a lot more
room for icons.

Gary, your solution worked fine. Thank you.
Ken, I can dock the entire taskbar on another side, but I
don't know how to move just the Quick Launch bar. Help?

Just click on an usused part of the Quick Launch bar and drag it
to the side you want it on.
