"Quick launch" has migrated to wrong end of Taskbar...

Instead of being located next to the Start button and
enclosed between dragable separators the quick to launch
programmes are now located at the other end of the Taskbar
and open files and programs are located between the
separators at the left-hand end of the Taskbar.

How do I put things back to how they ought to be?

This worked for me after I moved my toolbars to resemble your picture.

1. Close all open Windows.
2. Drag the task bar handle as far to the right as it will go.
3. Now drag the quick launch handle all the way to the right, until it
touches the Start button.
4. Rearrange the icons on the quick lanch bar if necessary.
5. Drag the task bar handle to the left to the desired position.
