Hi to All,
I have to migrate from one W2K domain to W2K3 domain and it si interforest
migration scheme.
The "test bench is working" and the migration work for me. However there are
still some problems to solve:
1. When SID filtering is disabled, the user should be able to log in both,
the source and target domain. When and how I will cut off the user
from source domain?
2. Workstations sit happily in the source domain, while on logon screen
there are two possibilities to log in source and target domain.
Workstation is a member of old domain. How and when to switch it
to the target domain?
3. There are a lot of students with old mandatory profile, I would like to
have new ones sitting in new server (disregarding old ones). Is there
any choice, that I have overlooked or should I use either script or
LDIFDE
to repair it.
4. Is there any possibility to migrate the content of home directories with
users to new server? Again I have not seen any option in the ADMT....
Many thanks for your comments and hints.
Regards,
Milos
