Hi,

I am going to switch to Outlook 2000 from Outlook Express,
but before doing so I have a few questions:

Will Outlook 2000 overwrite Outlook Express, or do I first
need to delete Express, or will I be able to toggle back
and forth between the two programs?

Will I be prompted for various communications settings
when setting up the program? (I'm not very technical).

My Outlook Express is set up with 4 accounts, so that
everyone in the family can switch to their identity. Will
Outlook 2000 capture all of these settings, or will I have
to reload them?

Can I export my address book from Outlook Express?

Thanks,
Mike

Install Outlook 2000 in Corporate/Workgroup mode. This
will enable you to create profiles in Control Panel->
Mail-> button Show Profiles-> Add. Here you set up your
server account settings but this isn't to hard and you
can always ask your ISP for the settings.

Microsoft Office Outlook doesn't overwrite Outlook
Express as they are different programs. But Outlook 2000
does need the (latest version preferable) of Outlook
Express to function properly. You can toggle as many as
you like.

Choose Export in Outlook Express to put your data into
Outlook correctly. The addressbook can be exported to (an
Exchange) pab-file which can be imported into Outlook
(Contacts folder).

Hope this helps!
