I created a slide show in Powerpoint 2007 and added a sound file to it. Then
I save the file in a folder. After burning the completed pps file to a disc,
the slide show plays, but there is no sound attached. Am I missing a step
here? It appears that the sound file never attaches to the slide show.
However, it will play sound if I play the file on the computer I attached the
sound file from. Any suggestions welcomed. Thx

Stephen,
If the sound is a wave. Select the sound icon, go to Options tab, Sound
options group, increase the maximum sound file size to a max of 50 MBtools
in the Max sound file size box.
Now delete the sound, reinsert it.
To check if the sound is well and true embedded, in Normal view select the
sound icon again, options tab, sounds options group, click on the little
arrow which brings up the sound dialog, under information next to file, if
you see embedded you are in business, if a path is displayed the file is
linked.
