I need a modification for my web site. My client wants to be able to click a
link and login on an admin, upload images, and change the whole site if they
want. An easy way to manage your site remotely, without changing everything
in html writing. Almost like a web admin. Is there an add-in or some
modification/program like this? Maybe some one could post a link.

seems like (as usual) the business people think they don't need designers to
do their work.
let them learn FP and they can modify it any way they want and not have to
PAY for it.
Personally I don't want my clients to change my pages because they will be
calling in a week for me to help them fix up all the mess they made. Too
many cooks do spoil the broth.
A person who is trained in web admin will already know how to do this.
That said I have seen programs for clients to admin their pages but it is
part of Macromedia. (Flash or Dreamweaver)
Photoshop just purchased MM so we will see if the interface becomes more
Image Ready like or more like DW/Flash.

It's called Contribute, and it will work with FP. In fact, if you have used
FP's templates, Contribute will respect the editable and non-editable
regions.

It's Adobe that made the offer to merge with Macromedia. And neither the
SEC nor the stockholders have yet approved the merger.

wow it will work on FP? wasn't aware of that.
Ditto the MM/Adobe merger, thought it was a done deal....

Well, I don't want to speak too soon. What drove me to that statement was
that since FP uses identical template markup with DW4 (not with later
versions, though), and since Contribute is compatible with that markup, it
will work just fine with the markup. HOWEVER, CT uses FTP exclusively to
up- and download files, and I realize now that this may be a serious
drawback....

Sorry for the poorly thought out response.

Hi,
I am after a similar thing, though only allow ppl to change some pages.
Currently looking a a prog called page publisher that does this, will let
you know. Site is: www.interactivetools.com
Let me know if this helps :-)

PS. haven't tried sw yet, still learning FP, but emails to co. have looked
promising.

From what I see here, the user edits these pages by entering in the HTML
code itself! Boy, not very user-friendly.

You might want to check out http://www.contentseed.com. The user gets a
nice and easy to use interface for entering page content. If you want more
information on real usage, check out my review:
