When I use my dial up connection and when I get connected I have yahoo
insider open and sometimes msn messanger opens. How can I get them to stop
opening?

Go to PREFERENCES in Yahoo and MSN Messenger.. you may also note that
virtually all WINDOWS programs have a PREFERENCES, OPTIONS and/or CUSTOMIZE
function..
