I have a question,
Is the server type antivirus, like at Earthlink, (They used Symantec) a
stronger, more powerful product that the one I can get at the store and
install myself?
I am asking as I had heard that the server based products of any product was
much better than the stuff the consumer can get at the store.

Thanks,
Bob

well, that's just plain silly...

no, the differences between server based av's and end user av products
lie in the features they have (there are features specific to
protecting multiple computers on a network that have no business being
in an end user product)...

Well, that might be so, but I have heard this from some folks that "seem" to
know what that are talking about. I was asking if anyone else had any better
information on that really.

You're correct if the quotes around "seem" imply sarcasm. As to
"better info" -- you just got that from Kurt.

Give yourself a favor and drop that silly advertisement

That is funny.... I've been certified by AVG too. Virus and all. More than
one virus scanner doth a computer good....
