I got a chuckle out of that. In reality, that is why a high percentage of
postings here occur.
Well mine is like that except it has not changed.
Dell Dimension 9150
Intel 940 D Dual core
Vista 64bit Ultimate
4gb ram
Nivida Geforce 8800
Latest Bios updated, Mutil core turned on in bios
Intel CPU ID program ran ( see report info below
In device mgr two cpu's shown, yet Vista system info ( where the score
is, lists only one core.
Graph via Task manager , view performance oly shows one graph and I
cannot choose two, as area is greyed out.
I've running the Gadget called MultiMeterD124
and only one core is being used according to it.
Any suggestions anyone?
Thanks
Phil

ducking out slowly - its now showing dual core - maybe I just going
mad!!!!
I have a Sony Vaio laptop with the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor (T5600).
The
spec tells me this is a 64bit dual CPU processor. When I look in task
manager - performance - I only see 1 CPU [i have selected one graph per
CPU] - is there anything I need to do to enable the dual core?
Thanks
