Those posters who keep posting the Britney Spears nude files in zlq format is
most probably a virus.

If one is using X-news which decodes attached files automatically, is it
possible to get the virus even if you don't save the file to disk?

*zlq* is your Zone Alarm at work......Mailsafe in it changes the extensions
to "Z" ones.......

Hi,
Actually Zone Alarm .zlq is a nenamed .scr extension.

More probably a trojan (pretending to be a screensaver) which
compromises your security in some way if executed. The zlq
extension is probably ZoneAlarm's "Mailsafe" renaming of .scr
extensioned program files.

Not likely, it would have to be executed, not just decoded.

However, if X-news decodes it - isn't it then a file saved on disk?
I would think that it would have to be for ZoneAlarm to change
the extension. Content has no extension - only filenames have
those.
