Question Regarding Scanning Album Covers

Does anyone have any advise on how to scan albums or laserdisc covers?

I am having a hard time finding a scanner big enough to scan the covers?
My laserdiscs are 12.5" wide.

The best way is photograph the album cover with a digital camera.
This was a vinyl record cover. A vinyl record album cover is 12.5" x 12.5".

The other way is to make multiple scans and stitch them together with
software.
Irfanview can do it.
