I am the admin for my PC. I have other user accounts set
up on the same PC. When I install new programs, some of
them cannot be seen or used by the other user accounts
(while most of the programs I install are visable). How
can I get the other users on my PC to be able to see and
use the programs I install?

Thanks!

There are some programs that are just not "good citizens" in this regard
(i.e. they were never designed to run in an operating system with multiple
profile support).

Some install programs allow you to specify whether to install for the
current user or all users.

Another thing to try is to simply copy the shortcuts over to the "All Users"
start menu - this is by no means guaranteed to work, but it's worth a shot
for apps that are designed to install for multiple profiles.

To do this, right-click Start and go to Explore. This gives you a view of
Start Menu shortcuts for the current user.

Right-click Start again and go to Explore All Users. This gives you a view
of Start Menu shortcuts for all users. Copy shortcuts here.
