I'm a bit confused about some of the fine points of the PL2004 process. I
see that BNR2 has been nominated and seconded, but the description only
lists different versions of the Windows OS.

BNR is available for both Windows and for Linux. This might be important to
someone, like me, who plans to migrate to Linux "someday". (I'm currently
about 99.99% Windows, 0.01% Linux)

But is this (the fact that there's a version for Linux) something that
should be pointed out now, or in the discussion phase, or...?

Is there a special thread for such things?

Thanks,

Andy

I think I just found the thread.

We're *all* confused . . . ;) a lot of things are different this year.

Hi Andy,

Now is good. :) BNR is a carryover nomination from PL2003 - we tried to
note all available OS - looks like we missed this program. I will add
the info.
Is there a special thread for such things?

Just started today: [PL] 2004 Discussion - Program Descriptions

IMO a post in that thread - requesting notes about alternate OS - is a
*good* idea. Including the info (programs and alternate OS) would be
really helpful. :)

Susan, thanks for the reply. I did post in the other thread and I mentioned
BNR.

Thanks,
