No. The rule is one copy (or one license) for each computer, just
as it's been with *every* version of Windows. The only thing new
with XP is that there's now an enforcement mechanism.

Moreover, since your version is an OEM copy, you couldn't even
put it on your laptop if you took it off your desktop. The OEM
copy's license ties it permanently to the first computer it's
installed on.
 
No. Per the license, you can have only one installation with one copy of
WinXP.

No - a none that would work technically, and b it is licensed solely
for that machine it came with. Every machine must have its own license
- if you buy a copy retail it may be moved on, but may *not* be
installed on more than one machine at any time
