I am using Outlook XP on an XP Pro system.

Assume I set the autoarchive to delete all tasks older than 2 months. Is
that calculated as two months from the date of creation or from the date of
completion? In other words, if I have some active tasks that are three
months old will they be deleted as well, or only tasks that have already
been completed?

Hi,

Thannk you for the posting. As you indicated, you would like to verify
whether the AutoArchive date is calculated as modified date or created date.

The answer is AutoArchive acts on the last modified date, . When you
archive a message folder, Microsoft Outlook determines the message age from
the sent date and time, the received date and time, or from the message's
modified date and time, whichever is the later.

For more information, please refer to this knowledge base article:

Hope the above information and explaination helps and answers your
question. If anything is unclear, please let me know.

Have a nice day!
