I looked at this product and it's what I need. I just want to clear up
licensing and deployment items.

First, do you have to deploy the reportToPDF mdb file to use this, I would
prefer not to.

I have an access mde front-end that is used by my client. Can I simply add
the two dlls to my setup routine and include the two code modules in my
application?

If not, if I purchase the DynaPDF 2.0 Lite Developer License would this give
me permissions.

Thanks

Don

Stephen has just updated this utility. If I understand him correctly, the
MDE is no longer needed--just the 2 DLLs.

I'm sure he would be happy to answer any questions regarding licensing if
you email him.

For anyone else who is researching printing PDFs from Access reports, the
link we are discussing is:

Yup, just distribute the 2 DLL's with your app. The ReportToPDF MDB just
contains helper routines for those who need them. No other licensing is
required.

I thought this was all clearly stated in the copyright notices on the README
and HowToUse forms?

Thanks, I read the sections but I wasn't sure if they were saying you had to
use the mdb to connect to the dll. Just wanted to be sure.

Have you seen any issues with converting to PDF? I tested some reports with
some images and they didn't come over to well. I'm currently using Access
97 and plan to more over to Access 2003, so maybe this will fix the problem,
otherwise I'll play around with the images.

Thanks again for providing this feature.

Don

Don the ReportToPDF solution first converts the report to Snapshot format
and then to PDF. Access 97 has some issues with exporting Reports
containing images to Snapshot format but I have published some workarounds
over the years. Almost all Image related issues seem to have dissappeared
with later versions of Access.
