question on all in wonder cards

can you record more then one show at a time?like if three or more
shows are on at the same time can you record all of them or only one?

If that is what you really want to do, then think first how you are going to
tune into 3 or more channels at a time.
I think you'll find you need 3 or more tuners to do this.

I can record one channel on the VCR, at the same time as recording a
different channel on the PC's AIW card, while watching a 3rd channel on the
TV. That's 3 tuners - 1 AIW card has one tuner.

though it would be nice to watch one and record another.

should be able to do that if u had multiple cpus

not cpus, tuners - or if someone would produce a multi-channel tuner chip

ATI have a solution to this - its called MulTView and its basically having
both an All In Wonder Radeon based card and a TV Wonder (Pro) based card in
the same machine. This will enable watching one channel while recording
another as well as various combinations such as picture in picture.

Have a look at some of the downloadable manuals off ATIs web site for more
info.
