Question on Adding Second HDD

Can a Western Digital Caviar 31600-004 - l.6GB HDD with 4 partitions
(D, E, F and G) that is currently being used as a Slave in my older PC
(Win95) be installed as a Slave in my newer HP Pavilion XT952 PC (Win ME)
which has 256B memory and a 350W (noisy) PS; by just installing, leaving the
jumper setting to Slave and rebooting? My CD writer is set as "M".

Yes.
If sharing a ribbon cable, ensure the other device is jumpered as Master.
 
If the master drive has more than one partition the drive letters could change.
