We have 4 sites all on the same domain : domain.net. I just went into my
network places --> entire network --> microsoft windows network. In there I
have a lot of other networks showing up (biology, brus, columbia, stooge
etc...). They don't belong to us. Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly
appreciated.

Letting people bring outside PCs or laptops into our network, are we?

When an outside machine is connected to your network, it brings along its
list of known hosts and workgroups which in turn get drawn into your network
listings. Generally this is of no real consequence since these non-existent
listings will disappear over a matter of time (or sooner if you restart
domain controllers and/or browse masters in a non-domain environment).
