When I visit some sites using IE6 and currency becomes involved, the
question mark(?) is displayed in place of the Pound Sterling (£) sign.
Is there any way I can resolve this at my end.
I have checked language is set to UK English in all programmes where I can.

Thank you for your time.

It may be an encoding issue.

Go to view/Encoding and change it to an other one.
Enable and diable the Autoselect

Look at the source code of the page.
What have they got at this meta tag?

Many thanks for that. I foolishly lost the url for the website involved but
others seem to work ok. Coding was set to Unicode. Now Western Windows.
Will see how it goes. Don't really understand the difference between codes.
Should I set it to Automatic ?
