is said to have a "standard computer power connector" does that mean the
typical "molex"-type four-pin connector that current IDE drives have?

Tempting to say yep - but even with one (been in a case awhile and
I've forgot), that may not be true. In fact I suspect I've an PWR
adapter or two SATA<>larger molex which may well be connected to it.
Hunt down a detailed picture/diagram or call them to get specifics.
