Question from a person afraid of computers

As you can tell by the question I do not do much around
computers. My DM sent me a worksheet (?) and I am sopose
to fill it out and get back to her only stupid me can't
seem to figure out how to get the text into it... What is
the simple obvious thing that I am missing? Anyone?

1. Do you have a copy of Microsoft Excel installed on your computer?
2. If excel is loaded, just open the file you were sent.
3. It should appear on the screen.
4. Using the mouse, click on the area where you are supposed to type
something
5. Just start typing!
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for all the fields you need to fill out.
