Question for owners of X850XL card

Greetings,
I am thinking of buying above mentioned card. I have come across
contradictory info on the amount of noise the stock cooler (heat exhaust
"dust buster") produces. Everyone agrees that it is extremely loud at
startup, but how loud is it afterwards? Thanks for answers.

My x850's fan revs up to 100% speed for a couple of seconds at startup, but
is dead quiet after that. Even when gaming or DVD playing it seems to stay
at low rpms and I cannot hear it over my very quiet case fans ever. Mine is
the PCI-E version BTW.

I'd say it's stays under 50% of total fan speed so should be fairly quiet.
If it is loud/annoying just get an Arctic Silencer, I use one and its very
quiet.
