Question and Suggestion

Nick

I have installed this software on two computers (one
laptop and desktop)and see different results. on the
desktop under advanced tools I have no listings under
system explore (on my laptop I see everything). Does
anybody know if there is a system setting that is causing
this? Any suggestion on how to fix? Also I would like to
suggest that the daily scan result pop-up allow for some
options that a user can select (for example only show me
results if there is something worthwhile to note). Justa
thought. Thanks.

Thanks for your observations and suggestions for the product.

I know others have seen similar symptoms to those you are posting, and I
don't know a resolution, unfortunately. You can try different screen
resolution settings, perhaps.

The idea about the scan results display is one I've heard others voice as
well--thanks for the effort!

Microsoft does read these messages and ideas here may influence the
direction they take.

Under Options -> Settings --> General you havde the
option for knowledgable user or novice user, these are
probably different on each PC and may be to do with the
time you installed them or the version of XP you are
using (Home/Pro)...

I've heard, but have not tested, that the difference between these two
settings is not the information or prompts presented, but that a novice user
is not allowed certain actions which are permitted to a knowledgable user.
Perhaps there's more on this in the product help, which I'll admit to having
been remiss about reading!
