Dear All,

Previously I upgraded my Windows XP to Windows Vista under AMD Athlon 64
system, now I would like to upgrade my CPU to 64x2 under the same
motherbroad. I want to ask if this will affect the Windows? Do I need to
buy another Windows Vista License to make this CPU upgrade?

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
Kin

If you get any messages about an invalid license, you may need to call MS
(toll free) and tell them what you did regarding hardware changes. They will
fix it... no new license at all.

No, you wouldn't need to buy another license. You MIGHT have to reactivate
Vista at the most, which might require a phone call to Microsoft by Phone
Activation.

Nope no need to buy another license.. Just pop the new cpu in and
windows will install the new drives for the X2 cpu and you are good to go..

Enjoy the new cpu :)
