Nancy

When I had to repair XP, I lost the command for the WinExplorer shortcut
that opens it with My Computer and C drive open, so I don't have to click on
them to do so. Can someone help me with that? I found one that would go to
C, but that didn't open "My Computer" as well.

Hi

Try the following in the 'Target:' pane of the shortcut:

%windir%\EXPLORER.EXE /e,c:

What would be the parameter to also include the expansion of My Documents?

Best regards

I use this parameter which produces a two pane explorer view of My Documents and all
its subfolders
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e, D:\My Documents
(I moved My Documents to the second hard drive therefore the reference to drive D:)
The /e switch creates the expansion I think.
