I was wondering if anyone could help me with an issue I
am having. I recently purchased a new computer (Dell)
with Windows XP and the wheel mouse is manufactured by
Logitech. I installed the IntelliPoint 5.0 for XP and I
could use the wheel button, but I have to click on a
window or area to give it the focus for scrolling.
Before, all I had to do was put the mouse pointer in the
area and it would scroll (for example in Windows
Explorer, the folder list and the contents of the
folder). Is this something that is different in XP that
could be causing this? My PC at work has Windows 2000
with the IntelliPoint 3.1 driver and it works fine. Any
suggestions how I can get the scrolling to work without
having to click on the area? Thanks.
