Hi! Can someone suggest how to get a USB
Mouse recognised when booting from a floppy
into DOS mode (for various Windows maintanence
functions) ?
I am using a "Logitech" optical mouse and maybe
I need to run some program from "autoexec.bat" to
mount the mouse ?

thnx.

Well... I'm not entirely sure, but start with "USB Legacy support" (in the
BIOS) for the mouse and keyboard. I think that the mouse and keyboard can
then be considered PS/2 devices, although at what level I'm unsure.

Usually DOS will require a driver for the mouse, but I don't know which
driver would recognise a USB mouse with legacy support.
