If I should be asking this elsewhere, please advise.

I access this and other Access forums via Outlook Express. I understand it
is not supported in Windows 7. What are other methods for accessing (sic)
these forums?

TIA

There are lots of newsreader programs: I use Agent (see www.forteinc.com) but
it's not the only choice.

I presume you're aware that Microsoft no longer supports these Usenet
newsgroups; traffic has declined greatly over the past year or two. See my
..sig for some alternative venues. They're all web based rather than text
based, but that's evidently the Wave Of The Future.

Microsoft's replacements for these newsgroups:
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/accessdev/
http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/addbuz/
and see also http://www.utteraccess.com

But I and other MVPs, or soon to be ex MVPs, will be monitering these
for years to come.

If you want something free, you can use Windows Live Mail, like I am.

[snip]

I started using Ver 1.9 when I was still on Win95 (or possibly ME) and
Office97 and I still use the same version now on Win7. Longest
lasting piece of software ever and never a single problem!

Hah! I'm using 1.93 so I'm slightly newer than you. <smile>
