I had 2 external drives that I no longer own that are still showing as
shared drives. I can not delete them through means that I have used in the
past. I have found reference to the "net share" command that will allow me
to delete an entry from the shared list (they are listed there). If I use
the command through a command prompt to delete the entries, is there any
risk? Thank you.

Hi
Yeah, you can use the Net Share command.

NET SHARE {sharename | devicename | drive:path} /DELETE

Jack (MVP-Networking).

Thank you, Jack. I really appreciate your help. The NET SHARE command
fixed my problem.
