Question about Tasks and Outlook Today

I know this is not the right forum, but my ISP doesn't have a general
Outlook or Outlook Tasks news group. So I hope you don't mind my intrusion.

Recently, I upgraded to WinXP and installed MS Office Professsional.
Everything went great. But my Outlook is a little whacky in the Outlook
Today. In the task area it lists tasks starting from 2007. I does go down to
the present day, but for some reason I can't sort it to ascend, not descend.
If the Custommize Outlook Today button has something to do with it, the
button doesn't work for some reason.

Any ideas?
