I have a some systems that we can not deploy XP to yet, Don't ask its a
upper management thing. Here's the deal. I have systems that I have built
with a 2k Advanced Server with RIS. Now they want to start deploying but
they want to be able to keep the images of the 2k machines. So my question
is is it possible to make a network bootable image of XP and 2K on the same
machine? I would like to create two differant directorys and tell which
machines to get the images from the directory I chose. How can i do this
with out making to RIS servers? Thanks

Yes.

Each time you make a RIPREP or RISETUP RIS image it makes its own new
directory so they don't step on each other. No worries. It sounds like you
need to look at the GPO (user based) that allows for custom installs so your
users can pick the image they need and which location or domain to install
to. You can select which images are available to which user or group by
using NTFS permissions on the *.SIF fie in each image directory.
