Does remote desktop record any keystrokes on the machine that you are
connecting from? (e.g. If I type a letter from work on my machine at home,
does a copy exist in the machine at work?) Or do certian things log into
the index.dat for internet purposes?

Just wondering, I don't want to type something in and get caught doing it if
it logs it. (sites that I visit at home, that can't be seen from work.
BLOCKED or firewalled sites.

Absolutely. Some employers do exatly that. It serves them in case of
dismissal.
