I downloaded the Spyware in Jan 2005. This week (3/8) I
downloaded it for my neighbor on his computer. He got a
version which allows him to "quarantine" items. So I
came home, deleted my version (thru the control panel)
and re-installed the free version. My version came back
as the same one I had originally installed. No
quarantine available. Why?
 
Lets check a couple of things:

1) If you go to Help, about--what's the last part of the version numbe?.
possibilities are .501 or .509.

2) If you go to tools, spyware scan, do you see a choice for "manage spyware
quarantine"?

Can you describe the keystrokes needed from opening the program to reaching
a screen on which you (don't!) see the quarantine option you are looking
for?

If you to to Options, Settings, general--are you set up as a novice user or
a knowledgable user?
 
It buggy like most features in beta 1, scheduled scans work in mine, but it
does not on some PC's, should be resolved by beta 2.
