Question about Product Key

I have just installed the full version of Embedded Studio
and am trying to make a full build of XPe. I have entered
one of the XPe codes (25chars - from the sticker on the
machine) into Target Designer but keep getting the message

System License Violation

during the FBA stage.

Does anybody know the format TD is expecting the code in -
caps, lower, hashs etc ?

You need to buy a XPE license from your distributor and the PID is on the
license sticker. Product Key on the IDE is not the PID for your build.
 
note that the XPe license key for XPe and XPe SP1 are different. best thing
to do is to check with your distributer.
