I read on a review of this board '...overclocked to 1.1GHz system bus, which
is impressive. But you must remember that for best performance system bus
and memory bus must run synchronously as on the 875.'

Just how important is this - is it true?

Very true, its not going to help if your CPU is overclocked but your
memory subsystem cant keep up the pace.

Thats why they suggest PC3200 RAM for a 800FSB processor so that you
maintain a 1:1 ratio.

In order to maintain 1:1 ratio then they need to run their RAM at 275Mhz
so they probably ended up running at 5:4 or 3:2.

Oh right - yes, I totally get that - it was the way they put it threw me
entirely.
The most important aspect of system speed is memory bus speed - no point in
having a Ferrari engine with Skoda wheels, so to speak.
Thanks for the help.
