Hello,
I am trying to do a specific mailmerge and I can't see a way to do it.
I want to merge more than one documents into a new one.
For example, I have Doc1, Doc2, Doc3, Doc4...
My program must open Doc1, do the mailmerge into NewDoc, open the Doc2
and mailmerge in the end of NewDoc And so on.
I want to keep the margins of Doc1 for all my new documents.
The default margins of the customer are 2 cm every side, but all the
Doc1... only have a margin of 1 cm.
What I do is open Doc1.
Mailmerge it.
Insert the content of Doc2 inside the New Document.
Mailmergeit (with new datas for the merge).
The problem that I have is that when I do a mailmerge of Doc1, a new
document is created. (so I have two opened documents).
On a very slow customer, when a customet want to merge 10 documents, he
sees a lot of document creations in the task manager.
He sees one Word, then a second one... (and it is very slow).
Is there a way to do the mailmerge in the opened document?
Thank you
Marc
