Question about Linksys Print Server

Anyone out there have any experience using or trying to use a Linksys
PrintServer PSUS4 with a Belkin parallel to USB adaptor? I can't get
mine to work. My printer is a parallel Xerox N17 Printer.

Can't help directly, but I'm sorry to say, but I have heard bad stories
about parallel to USB adapters not working with printers (so perhaps other
devices too?). I presume you have the manual/instructions for the USB
adapter? And how about the linksys - product details and manual here:

Do you have a part No for the Belkin?
Most of the parallel to USB adapters I have seen are for connecting to
the USB port on a PC and while win2k and XP did not require an extra
driver earlier win OS's did, so I would not be surprised if the Linksys
is not able to work with the adapter as it probably does have the
necessary firmware.

Should have read:-
"it probably does not have the necessary firmware."
