I have not yet seemed to figure this out and can't find it on any of KB
articles...

I can't get the MSN homepage to ever "stretch" and fit the whole screen when
I maximize
the window in Internet Explorer...other sites do so is this just a design
(flaw) in the site or is something heywire with my system (yikes)?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Brian,
The only thing i can think of is that your display MAY be
lower than 800x600. 800x600 and higher works fine for me,
but 640x480 required me to scroll sideways as well as
vertically.

John

No, that isn't it and as I said, other all other sites will stretch to fit
the screen when I maximize the window.

My display settings are set as 1024x768 res. on a 21" monitor using a ATI
9700 Pro

It's the coding on the page. It is hard coded for an 800 pixel wide
display. If your window is wider than that you will have a blank area on
the right. There's nothing wrong with your IE and nothing you can do about
it.

IMHO, this is very bad coding, but more and more sites are doing it.
