Good morning,
I have a Dexxa Wireless Optical Mouse. Can someone please tell me how the
signals go from the mouse to the receiver (which goes with a cable to the
PC).
Is it by IR or by radio signals ?
Thanks a lot,
MV

How old is it? The oldest ones used IR but anything semi-modern uses
radio waves, like around 27MHz. The easiest way to tell might be to
look at the receiver, if it's IR it'll have a sensor window, sometimes
they're clear but usually dark colored, or the whole housing would be
translucent. Of course the mouse itself would also have a similar
transmitter window on the end if it were IR.

thanks for answering, it is radio waves, it works also with a hand in
between. However strength appears to be not very high, after about 1.5 meter
no response anyamore.

My logitech has a much greater range if the receiver is kept away from
anything metal, like the system case, metal desk, etc.
