I know that I can install the program and find out, but if somebody
that uses this program can answer this question it will save me from
doing so. Does Batchrun:

http://www.outertech.com/index.php?_charisma_page=product&id=1

run in the background? The reason I ask is because I notice that the
batch files (.brs files) it creates seem to be of a proprietary
nature. This may mean that in order to use the batch files the program
must be running in the background. Is this the case?

TIA

No. Batchrun simply allows one or more programs or other batch files
to be executed with switches if required from a single icon start. It
is really a batch file writer: each new batch file being given a
separate name. Nothing runs in the background, except possibly one of
the files that it calls.

Thanks for the clarification, Fanman. I'll give it a try.
