Question about batch files.

I would like to write a batch file to determine specifically what drive a
specifc directory and file are resident on at startup and then save the
value for future use by another batch file. I've tried to save the answer
to a "batch variable" but to avail

Suggest you inquire in the win2000.cmdprompt.admin group and the
win3x_wfw_dos group for batch file advice.
