Querying new field on old report

We have an access database which I query using Crystal Reports. A new field
was added to one of the tables in our database and Crystal connot see the
field. Naturally, I now need to add this field to one of the reports that I
create monthly.

Does anyone have any ideas why this field is not showing up in Crystal?

Because you need to refresh the data dictionary CR has about the
Access table. Link to the table again as if it is the first time
you're doing it.
Or because you are running a query with enumerated fields (rather than
"*") and thus the new field is not included.
