i am creating a system where i have 6 companies that i
support. i have main details of each company such as name
address etc on a main form. however on that form i want to
have a command button which opens up a query log form, so
taht each time a customer calls when i click this button
it brings up their past faults that they logged. if the
problem they are experiencing is knew then i would like to
create a new log.

my question is how do i go about creating thsi query log
form so that when i search up teh particular company on
teh main form when i click on customer queries it brings
only queries relating./logged by that company and allows
me to add more to it
 
It sounds like a Subform of your Company Form is the way
to go.
