I did a doubletake when I saw your error message. Never ran into it before.
Therefore I did a google search plus searched these forums and Microsoft
Support. It seems to be more of an Office 2007 problems as it's happening in
Outlook, Excel and Word also. Nothing seems to have been found definite yet;
however, the Skype telephone program has been reported as the problem. Has
Skype ever been on your computer?
Also disabling the virus checker seems to have worked, but isn't a good
solution. Our own Roger Carlson had asked someone with the problem about
their NIC (network card). Possibly Roger knows something.
Other people with the problem have gone as far as wiping their hard drive
and reinstalling from the OS on up without luck. That would seem to point to
a hardware problem, like the NIC, or they reinstalled a program that caused
the problem.
I'd certainly recommend making sure that all programs on your computer are
updated and all patches applied.
